Bob is an AI SEO advisor built directly into IndexMind. Think of Bob as an always-on teammate who monitors your site's AI visibility, answers your SEO questions in plain language, proposes concrete improvements, and, when you allow it, auto-executes fixes on your behalf.

Bob combines the intelligence of large language models with IndexMind's crawl data, probe results, and scoring engine to deliver contextual, actionable guidance tailored to your site.

What Bob can do

  • Analyze your site: Bob reviews your crawl results, AI Optimization Score, pillar breakdowns, and competitor data to surface the most impactful opportunities.
  • Answer SEO questions: Ask Bob anything about your site's AI visibility, technical health, content quality, or competitive position. Bob grounds every answer in your project's real data.
  • Propose improvements: Bob identifies specific fixes such as schema markup changes, content gaps, and technical issues. He presents them as structured action items you can review before they ship.
  • Auto-execute fixes: On Pro and Enterprise plans, Bob can automatically execute approved action types (like triggering webhooks or GitHub Actions workflows) within the guardrails you define.

Prerequisites

Before you can use Bob, you need:

  • An active IndexMind project with at least one completed analysis
  • An appropriate plan tier for the level of autonomy you want (see below)

How to access Bob

Navigate to /app/agent from the main navigation. Bob's interface includes several pages:

  • Chat: Conversational interface for asking questions and reviewing recommendations
  • Analysis: Deep-dive into Bob's findings across your project
  • Action Plan: Review, approve, or dismiss proposed actions
  • Schedule: Configure when Bob runs automated analyses
  • Notifications: Set alert preferences for issues and proposals
  • Guardrails: Define safety boundaries and allowed action types
  • Integrations: Route actions to external tools like Asana, Monday, Linear, or Notion

Bob's capabilities depend on your plan tier and autonomy level. On the Free plan, Bob operates in advisory mode only. Upgrade to Starter or higher to unlock proposed actions and automation.
