Search Intelligence

Connect Google Search Console to unlock cross-analysis between organic search data and AI visibility.

IndexMind's Search Intelligence module connects your Google Search Console data with AI visibility insights. This cross-analysis is what sets IndexMind apart: instead of looking at organic search and AI visibility separately, you see the full picture and act on what matters most.

When a query ranks well in Google but AI never cites you, that is a gap. When AI recommends you but Google does not rank you, that is an opportunity. Search Intelligence surfaces both.

Getting Connected

Search Intelligence requires a Google Search Console connection. You can connect GSC from Settings in your IndexMind dashboard. Once connected, IndexMind syncs your query, page, and daily performance data automatically.

After connecting GSC, run a sync to populate your search data. IndexMind stores up to 90 days of daily query data for trend analysis.

What You'll Learn

This section covers every feature in the Search Intelligence module.

Search Performance

Track your organic search metrics: impressions, clicks, average position, and CTR. See winners and losers, find low-hanging fruit queries, and break data down by device and country.

Content Gaps

Find high-value queries that Google sees but AI ignores, topics where AI cites you but Google does not rank you, and underperforming queries where both channels have room to improve.

Cohort Tracking

Classify your pages into cohorts — new, growing, and established — based on how long they have been visible in search results. Monitor each cohort's trajectory and catch declining pages early.

URL Health

Inspect your most important pages for indexing status, mobile usability, canonical issues, and crawl errors using the Google URL Inspection API.

Alerts

Set threshold-based alerts for position drops, CTR anomalies, and impression changes. Get notified in-app and via email when something needs attention.

Opportunities

A prioritized list of what to fix next, combining organic gaps with AI blind spots. Each opportunity includes an impact estimate, affected queries, and a direct link to the relevant detail view.

How It Works With AI Visibility

Search Intelligence is not a standalone SEO dashboard. Every feature is designed to cross-reference organic search data with AI probe results:

  • Content Gaps compare GSC query data against citation results to find queries where one channel performs and the other does not.
  • Opportunities score items using both organic impressions and AI visibility status, so the most impactful cross-channel gaps surface first.
  • Cohort Tracking uses GSC first-appearance dates alongside query-to-page mapping to classify pages, then overlays AI citation data for each page.
  • Alerts can trigger on organic-only signals (position drops) or cross-channel signals (high-impression pages that are AI-invisible).

This is the IndexMind advantage: Google sees demand, AI decides who gets recommended, and IndexMind shows you where the gaps are between the two.
